Chow Loong Jin, don't you think that nautilus-share would have to do everything with shares-admin? I've updated form gutsy and it not lost the icon conifiguration, but when I right click an icon on the desktop and select Properties, I used to be able to click the icon (it was a button) and be able to select custom icon for the folder or launcher.
