[Bug 272317] [NEW] Nautilus: 100% CPU-Usage after login

2008-09-19 Thread nordlicht.ol
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

As said in the Summary. I'm using Intrepid A6, after todays updates,
Nautilus is using nearly 100% of CPU-Time, leading to an extreme choppy
Desktop-Performance. It seems as if Nautilus is working heavy on the
Images in /home/USER/.tumbmails Folder. When deleting the Folder, CPU-
Usage turns back to normal Range, but some Menu still reacting very
slow.

Updates installed before that behaivior starts:

gtk2-engines-pixbuf (2.14.1-0ubuntu1) to 2.14.2-0ubuntu1
libgtk2.0-0 (2.14.1-0ubuntu1) to 2.14.2-0ubuntu1
libgtk2.0-bin (2.14.1-0ubuntu1) to 2.14.2-0ubuntu1
libgtk2.0-common (2.14.1-0ubuntu1) to 2.14.2-0ubuntu1

[Bug 265150] Re: Rhythmbox hangs up when sliding through Songs

2008-09-08 Thread nordlicht.ol
Tried to obtain a backtrace, but it's (actual) not possible because I am
not able to install Rhythmbox-dbgsym. Rhythmbox-dbgsym has Version
0.11.5-0ubuntu8, while Rhythmbox has 0.11.6svn20080903-0ubuntu2. I
couldn't install dbgsym via Synaptic. Will try again later.

[Bug 248005] Re: gnome-search-tool: delete of file fails - Name too long

2008-09-07 Thread nordlicht.ol
Still the same in Intrepid. I'm using german locale, too. I wanted to
delete all covers from my Musicfolder, about 120 Files, all Named
folder.jpg. Error message was the same. As I figured out, the error
occured after deleting 32 Files.

Will this be fixed on the Final?

[Bug 264638] [NEW] Seahorse don't use it's Icons in Apllicationsmenu

2008-09-04 Thread nordlicht.ol
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: seahorse

Instead of using its own Icon in Applicationsmenu, Seahorse only uses
this nasty empty Window default Icon. This was the same in Hardy, the
Icon for Seahorse is not beeing used. It really does not look really
professional and should be easy to fix.

played a musicfile and stopped it immediatly

When opening the Gnome-Screensaver Dialog, Ubuntu hangs completly when
Compiz is enabled. Nothing is responding, Strg+Alt+F1 is useless. The

I use a Sounblaster Audigy 2 PCMCIA. I found out that the Problem maybe
lies not in the Applet because the Problem with the Suspendmodes only
occour when the SBA2 is plugged in. Without the attached SBA, suspend

[Bug 156430] Mixer-applet prevents Suspendmode

2007-10-23 Thread nordlicht.ol
Public bug reported:

Under Gutsy, the Suspendmodes aren't working for me. I only get a black
screen, after a few seconds I can enter my password to get back to the
Desktop. I noticed that the Gnome-mixer-applet has a heavy CPU Load
(60-80%) so I removed it from the Panel. A few seconds later, Gutsy went
into Sleepmode.

[Bug 133014] Re: [gutsy] File-roller Drag and drop works when adding, but not when extracting

2007-09-03 Thread nordlicht.ol
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 13199 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/13199

The same here...as in Feisty. It's really nasty that this wasn't fixed
in Feisty already. Is it really so hard to get this working? I know it
is because Nautilus hasn't a feature needed by File-rollers Dnd, but
hey: go back to File-Rollers old Dnd-Method until the Feature is
integrated in Nautilus. Would make more sense as leaving the Users
without working Dnd.
