2012-06-26 Thread q.dinar
brasero in ubuntu 12.04 does not see dvd disk as writable. but it
should, i made it multisession disk. maybe i wrote it with brasero and
it did not made it proper multisession dvd, probably i used brasero, but
maybe i have written it with program that in lubuntu, or with other
program, in windows. or brasero do not read it properly now.

[Bug 682030] Re: run sudo nautilus , after finished close natilus , it still in work

2011-12-09 Thread q.dinar
this does not appear to be a bug report - i think this bug, but i
think it is not gnome-terminal bug, but bug of nautilus, or sudo ( also
gksudo).

your link
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#When%20not%20to%20file%20a%20bug
- no such chapter (hash) on that page now.

duplicate of this bug is:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/583261

i usually run gksudo nautilus.

after closed the nautilus, it still in work ! I should press Ctrl + C
to stop it !

in my case ctrl+c just gives command prompt, but to close nautlus i run
sudo killall nautilus.

[Bug 669882] [NEW] nautilus unexpextedly changes modification time when moving files to other partition

2010-11-02 Thread q.dinar
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

if you move myfolder from /home/user/dir1/ to /home/user/dir2/ , last
modification times of all files in myfolder are preserved, also all that
modification times are preserved when folder is copied to other
directory including directory un other partition, but, if you move
myfolder to other partition, for example, target folder can be named
/mnt/sdb7/dir3/ , all files in myfolder lose their last modification
times, and get instead of them the moving time.

2010-10-30 Thread q.dinar
i have reported this to bug-...@gnu.org :

then i asked for help in ##linux channel in freenode, i tried tab
completion - same bug:

tar -cf x.tar /home/dinar/Документы/SED\:\ How\ can\ I\ replace\ a\

tar: /home/dinar/Документы/SED\: How can I replace a newline (\n)? -

but it has not appeared yet somehow in

and, btw, this is tar bug.

approvement:
i added great britain and iraq and it shows GBr and Irq for them.

but there is some layots shown other way:
if i add Algeria it show Ara which is not country name but language name.

but when i add Tatar it should not show Рус, because is is not one
layot for Russian language, but just layot used in Russia. it seems that
same bug with other layots of Russia, i have tested with Chuvash and

yes.
i think now these are just layot names that can be named not only by country,
but any way, i thought they are by country when i reported this bug, may be
that was designed to be by country but some arabic countries all use one arabic
layot and signed that for all of them as Ara.
also i have tried to add Switzerland French and German, they are signed as
Che and Che2 - may be, i do not know, also uncomfortable sign, and so
indeed most of layots are signed by country.

[Bug 514626] Re: Russia's shortened version in keyboard switcher applet is not correct in russian locale.

2010-02-12 Thread q.dinar
i think there is no need to mark this bug as invalid and report it other
way , because this report is quite correct, because it/that looks like
somebody(one person) named full names of layots as/like Russia - Chuvash
, and this is correct, may be he/she used as instance Switzerland
layots, and then somebody else(another person) quite correctly but not
perfectly (perfectly well) named short marks/signs of all of them as Rus
meaning country, and then somebody else(another, third person)
incorrectly(but/though may be more pretty/comfortable as said in message
#12 here) translated them to russian as Рус.

One another example to this problem is LAm for several Latin America
countries and languages. So these are by region, not by country nor by
language.

Also there are much exploration of this bug in this thread/bug report,
and no need not to use this report.

Just i have not provided more detailed information regarding which layot
i use, this is because i had known that other layots of Russia also
marked as Рус and decided that that was intended to be meaning Russia,
and generalised this report for all layots of Russia.

This also can be generalised for all layots.

edit/correct message #13 by me: there should be i have tested with
Chuvash and Udmurt, they are shown as Рус2 and Рус3 , and 2 and 3 are
written with subscript.

om26er, bugs are as they were...
1. dialog of asking password is unclosable, i have closed it first time with
alt+shift+f1, login, shutdown -r now , other time i stopped it with
alt+shift+f1, login, apt-get remove empathy. first time i tried killall but
could not remove the dialog with it , so restarted.
2. what happens when password is changed with passwd ? in my case i changed it.
who says to user that he should fix his gnome keyring password? nothing has
said, also hard to find in web.

now i am going to ask a question in answers : how to change gnome key
ring password.

one bug is that extra dialog appears and other bug is that i cannot remove this

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/502768 : I have no idea
what to do. i also do not know. this is bug because OS should provide
information. i have searched in web but have not found much about this. i have
found that gnome keyring uses user's password by default, but it has not
worked, and i have found that gnome-keyring is deprecated.
