[Bug 1301401] Re: Windows Live account doesn't login on Ubuntu 14.04 beta

2014-06-25 Thread shaneonabike
For me it connects to Hotmail and requires me to accept that Gnome
access Hotmail. But after this has been done Hotmail cannot connect
through Empathy. It continually reports a network error :/

@Bilal: I'm not sure I fully understand your question?

Are you asking me if these IRC channels appear in my favourites? If so
no they don't.

[Bug 1074500] Re: empathy IRC channels no longer selectable

2012-11-28 Thread shaneonabike
There is no menu for this in Gnome. In fact there is no menu in Gnome at
all so I'm not sure what you mean? When you add an IRC connection it
just connects to NickServ. That's the only way that I have been able to
join rooms (through NickServ).

Unfortunately I don't see this option as you indicated? It used to be
there in 12.04 but not now.

[Bug 1073385] Re: lock screen is missing music controls

2012-11-17 Thread shaneonabike
Could I suggest that you add some configuration setting somewhere since
I agree with teh privacy issue, but also think this is useful for folks
who don't mind having some notifications? Just a thought to make it
easier for some folks that may not remember to make the suggestion you
posted. (Read: Make it more accessible to general public :)
