[Bug 604635] Re: Have default settings be energy star 5.0 compliant

2012-07-13 Thread shawnlandden
Firefox had added power-inhibit logic so this can be more sensible,
while still supporting watching movies without pissing off users.

[Bug 1015762] Re: single-clieck mode broken in icon mode (but not list mode)

2012-06-21 Thread shawnlandden
It actually started working after some unspecified something. You drag
by pressing and dragging, works great.

Now the issue is that while on my multi-touch touchscreen I can do
elastic scrolling in natilus, on my single-touch touch-screen it tries
to select, which is far less useful. xorg sees it as a touchscreen, and
there is no mouse pointer (which is also sign that it is detected as a
touchscreen)is this elastic scrolling behavior multi-touch tied
somehow? and if so, how do i enable it for single-touch touchpanels

[Bug 1015762] [NEW] single-clieck mode broken in icon mode (but not list mode)

2012-06-20 Thread shawnlandden
Public bug reported:

if i set to single-click to open in nautilus (im trying to use nautilus
on a touch screen) then i can't open items at all wen in icon mode. If i
set list mode, then everything works as expected (with single-click to
open)

I currently have removed overlay scrollbars, but since i discovered
flick scroling, will likely turn them back on. It sure would be nice if
they wre gtk/wayland clean.
