Unluckily it looks like the fix will only become effective in karmic koala ... [Bug 367830] [NEW] F-Spot lost the folder structure in 9.04
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot from 7.10 to 8.10, f-spot used to import any picture in a folder named home/Photos//mm/dd the program got the picture details from the camera and created those sub-folders all by itself. This is NOT done anymore since the update to 9.04 last week. Right now any picture ends up in home/Photos, and the entire "date structure" is lost. BAD habit - and you can't chose anything like "year/month/day structure" anywhere. It's a major drawback for an amateur photographer like me. ** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 9.04 date day f-spot import photo ** Tags added: 9.04 date day f-spot import photo -- F-Spot lost the folder structure in 9.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367830 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to f-spot in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
