2011-06-08 Thread sparker256
Do not know if related but in terminal I used to be able to scroll
through previous commands with the arrow up and down. Now it gives me a
screen shot dialog box. I found this while using Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10 32
bit and 64 bit.

I have went back to glib2.0 (2.28.8-0ubuntu1) on i386 until this is
resolved. I could not find a working x64 build so had to go back to

[Bug 529535] Re: Calculator - Programing Hexadecimal not converted correctly

2010-02-28 Thread sparker256
When I press the x_16 button the bits display under the entry display is
greyed out. As I using the Calculator as a converter not sure how to
proceed. I just tried ₁₆ff+₁₆FF and clicked = and got Malformed
expression. I would call this broken and not invalid.

[Bug 529535] Re: Calculator - Programing Hexadecimal not converted correctly

2010-02-28 Thread sparker256
OK I did get that to work but it is sure very cumbersome to use, In the
older version I told it to use hex and it would use all entries as hex.
Also the binary representation under the entry screen is useless because
it does not work. If this does not get any more usable I guess that I
will have to find a way to install the previous version. Thanks for your
time.
