[Bug 75912] Re: Hang on connecting to unreachable ftp
This bug does not cause a nautilus crash. It causes nautilus to hang for roughly 3 minutes. Here's how I reproduced the bug. I created a new connection 'FTP (with logon)' from the Places Connect to server... menu. In this case I had created a valid FTP account on the server but the server was not accessible because port 21 was not open on the server. During the 3 minutes of nautilus hanging, the upper left menu (applications, places, system as well as the panel shortcuts) did not respond to mouse events. After the hang, everything returned to normal and a dialog box appears with this message: Could not open location 'ftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Timeout reached. I attempted to obtain a backtrace, but since nautilus never actually crashed, gdb never returned to a prompt where I could ask it for a backtrace. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = Confirmed -- Hang on connecting to unreachable ftp https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/75912 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 10669] Re: Filters are not applied to new mail on Exchange
I can also confirm this bug with evlolution in latest Gutsy configured to use IMAP to an exchange server. Rules can run manually, but 'Apply filters to new messages in INBOX on this server' does not have the expected behavior. I have restarted evolution and the message rules are not applied. This becomes very annoying for those of us who receive useless emails on a minute by minute basis. The notification area in the panel grabs my attention with new email constantly. --Stephen -- Filters are not applied to new mail on Exchange https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/10669 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 10669] Re: Filters are not applied to new mail on Exchange
Also, apparently this bug was assigned to Ubuntu Desktop Bugs on 2006-01-13. I'm recommending that the bug be reassigned since its closing in on two years old at this point. --Stephen -- Filters are not applied to new mail on Exchange https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/10669 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 138356] Re: Bluetooth fails to connect to phone: obex://[mac:address] is not a valid location.
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 131530 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/131530 This is still a problem on latest Gutsy, the option to browse device does not work as advertised without installing package gnome-vfs- obexftp. The dependency should be fixed, if the package can't be merged into main the browse device option should lead to a message to indicate which package is needed. -- Bluetooth fails to connect to phone: obex://[mac:address] is not a valid location. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/138356 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for nautilus in ubuntu (via bug 131530). -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

I confirm this bug. When starting tribe 3 from the live cd, i decided to test my sound by running ubuntusax.ogg.
