Companies like the axel springer Verlag have a history of being anti Islam. And the whole crap about crime rates and shit. It's the same in every single country. The lower the income the more crimes will be committed. And I have to say it's getting worse and worse living with racism here in Germany. I had to search for a house for over 6 months even though my German is perfect, I don't have an accent, a job and no conflicts with the law whatsoever. And people saying it's not racism.. When installation was completed and system booted up, I still had the English generic keyboard layout, even though I chose Norwegian during setup. I had a similar experience in Oneiric, but I found a bypass there where I added English keyboard layout after first boot, removed Norwegian, re-added Norwegian and set Norwegian to default. It then stuck, but it doesn't in Precise. After each and every reboot, the system reverts to the English generic layout. To bring up my desired default, I have to run dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration. My Norwegian keyboard layout will then be active until next reboot. I might also add the the keyboard icon shows no (Norwegian) when logging in, even though it's English, and when logged in the keyboard icon shows en, even though the layout has been reconfigured to no. Think this is my first bug report, so let me know if I should add anything. Kate - how is This can be mitigated by switching to the Dust or Clear Looks theme a fix? If I install Ubuntu 10.10 on a new machine, the default theme is still Ambience with 1 px borders. Are users required to just *know* that they need to change a theme to be able to resize windows? No other operating system seems to have this requirement. [Bug 427100] Re: JPEG2000 thumbnail causes browser to crash
My error message matches the one in #475488 - for a bit of extra fun, use a browser like Chromium who prefers to save downloads to ~/Desktop, this will cause Nautilus to go in an infinite loop, blanking and restarting the desktop. Perhaps assertion failures in jp2_decode should just give a blank preview instead of crashing the file browser. If you rename to .jpeg the problem persists, but rename to .txt or disable previews and everything is fine again. -- JPEG2000 thumbnail causes browser to crash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/427100 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 227408] [NEW] Link colors are not affected by style properties
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-themes Setting style properties for link-color in gtkrc (as exemplified by the HighContrastInverse theme from gnome-accessibility-themes) does not alter the color of links in Gnome-applications like Liferea and Evolution. [Bug 30256] hal makes tons of scsi bus resets
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/30256 Comment: Sorry, I had forgot about this bug. This bug was fixed by a new hal upload some days after I filed the bug. Probably by 0.5.6-4ubuntu1 the 14th of February. Unknown if the continous bus resets were the cause, but my scsi cd-writer is now dead.
