[Bug 549123] Re: GDM no longer contains gnome.

2010-03-27 Thread thedjatclubrock
Looking at it:

sudo apt-get install gnome-desktop-environment (NOT Essentials)
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done

The following NEW packages will be installed:
  brasero dasher dasher-data deskbar-applet desktop-base gnome-accessibility
  gnome-applets gnome-backgrounds gnome-core gnome-desktop-environment
  gnome-disk-utility gnome-netstatus-applet gnome-session gnome-themes gok
  gvfs-backends gvfs-bin hamster-applet libgdu-gtk0 libswfdec-0.8-0 nautilus
  python-beagle swfdec-gnome

Those packages SHOULD NOT have been removed with the upgrade. This is a
nasty little bug with an easy solution.

[Bug 549123] [NEW] GDM no longer contains gnome.

2010-03-26 Thread thedjatclubrock
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

After an upgrade to beta, GDM no longer has an option for GNOME despite
GNOME being installed. Using gdm, I can select only KDE or Xterm. If I
want to use gnome, I need to choose xterm and run gnome-session and
metacity manually.

[Bug 454139] Re: Evolution can't open radio button links

2009-10-19 Thread thedjatclubrock
1) Open E-Mail message that contains radio-button links.
Expected: Firefox to open with linked page.
Encountered: "Operation Not Supported" Error. Error persists.

I'll attach an example as soon as possible, as I do not have the
computer with myself at the moment.

Thanks.

[Bug 454972] [NEW] F-Spot --> Evolution Mail Subject

2009-10-18 Thread thedjatclubrock
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: f-spot

When sending a photo through evolution from F-Spot, one clicks on Photo
--> Send By Mail. When evolution pops up, the subject of the message is
my+photos. The subject shouldn't contain a +, and the M and P should be
capitalized.

[Bug 367661] Re: evolution will not open links in email

2009-10-16 Thread thedjatclubrock
I too have the same problem on a machine running Jaunty. I have not
compiled any custom software, just used apt.

When I try to open some sites, it fails if the email consists of radio
button links. When I try to open a standard link, it succeeds.

[Bug 421221] Re: menu entry says 'gedit' should say 'Text Editor'

2009-10-06 Thread thedjatclubrock
It also appears as gedit in GNOME-Do and the right-click menu as well as
the open with... dialog. it doesn't say text editor in those places at
all, just gedit. Should fix.
