[Bug 945216] [NEW] transparency is applied to terminal background image
Public bug reported: 1) Description:Ubuntu 11.10 Release:11.10 2) gnome-terminal: Installed: 3.0.1-0ubuntu3 Candidate: 3.0.1-0ubuntu3 Version table: *** 3.0.1-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3) When I choose a terminal background image, I expect to have the background image shown without transparency. 4) Transparency is applied to the chosen background image. No way to make the background opaque. When the shade is set to none, the terminal becomes completely transparent. When set to maximum, the background becomes black. I expect this behavior on transparent mode but not when a background image is chosen.
