[Bug 948403] Re: user account manager does not show system username

2012-03-06 Thread Fairuz WAN ISMAIL
In term of user information I do agree that there are no difference if
we create several users with the same name. But you can still
distinguish the users from the user list with the system username. On my
12.04, the usernames are shown on the user list.

[Bug 945216] [NEW] transparency is applied to terminal background image

2012-03-02 Thread Fairuz WAN ISMAIL
Public bug reported:

1)
Description:Ubuntu 11.10
Release:11.10

2)
gnome-terminal:
  Installed: 3.0.1-0ubuntu3
  Candidate: 3.0.1-0ubuntu3
  Version table:
 *** 3.0.1-0ubuntu3 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

3)
When I choose a terminal background image, I expect to have the background
image shown without transparency.

4)
Transparency is applied to the chosen background image. No way to make the
background opaque. When the shade is set to none, the terminal becomes
completely transparent. When set to maximum, the background becomes black. I
expect this behavior on transparent mode but not when a background image is
chosen.

[Info 07:39:39.583] Hack for gnome-settings-daemon engaged
The program 'f-spot' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 5181 error_code 11 request_code 53 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
