Test case:
Open nautilus, navigate a dir. or two
Use any of theses 3, -  ctrl+up arrow, ctrl+left arrow, ctrl+right arrow
None are functional but they are intended to be upstream

While I gather  not the solution,  if any of the above are added to the page 
menu then the binding(s) become functional
