I have the same problem both on Intrepod 8.10 and Jaunty 9.04 with totem-gstreamer plugin. I need this badly because when my grandfather watches a movie on bestrussiantv.com and it gets interrupted, he has to restart it and position to where he got dropped, but the slider on Totem stays dead. Has this bug been fixed in gutsy? I can still confirm this bug while playing an mp3 file in firefox.
