I use the default theme in Ubuntu 7.10 (clean install). I don't even know what it is called, since I never bother to change it. Fresh Install of Gutsy (Final Release) and after installing xchat-gnome the menu icon does not appear. Sebastien, This is strange. I tried on my Gutsy desktop and right after the installation of XChat-GNOME the icons are missing. So I can confirm that right after install from Add/Remove... the icon is missing. I'd report back once I reboot to see what happens.
