You have been subscribed to a public bug: This is on the latest gutsy. I cannot change the desktop wallpaper using the gnome-appearance-properties control panel tool. I can add wallpapers to the list of wallpapers, but cannot actually change it.
I can set a picture as a wallpaper by dragging the file from Nautilus, where it is automatically tiled. But if I then try to change this (to 'Zoomed' or whatever) using the applet, nothing happens. I can't even remove the wallpaper by setting a solid colour. Can anyone else confirm? ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: New -- Changing desktop background doesn't work https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/139320 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
