Same problem on Yakkety. Birdfont app installed with g-s, "Remove" button not shown until "pkill gnome-software". I'm not an expert on these things or even very knowledgeable about Linux in general, but based on my own personal experience that does seem to be the case. Doing a system restart fixes every single one of them(I have experienced all of them). I think bug 1582959 has the same underlying cause.
