Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, the described behavior isn't a bug: the "or deleting files" part of that sentence refers to the option below it, "add a option to remove files without sending them to the trash first" (it might be called something different, I'm translating from Catalan).
