Summary: Exporting an image from the Ubuntu default installed PDF
viewer (Evince) produces JPEGs of a variety that the default image
viewer (Eye of Gnome) cannot load. GIMP and other image related
applications have no problem with the output.
Frequency: Always
Reproduce: Load a PDF with embedded images. Right click and select
"Save Image As...". Save as a JPG. Try to load the result using Eye of
Gnome.
