[Bug 1813896] Re: Monitors stopped working
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1813663 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1813663 I have similar problem, in my case I saw some firmware update but don't know what it was exactly. It happens while Im using Dock station through thunderbolt and when I plug in directly to laptop through HDMI port. I have tried with noveau ( doesn't work at all ) and nvidia drivers ( works but can't change display order as it hangs and also closing lid makes my laptop freeze ). I tlooks like something happens with xorg server but not sure. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1813896 Title: Monitors stopped working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1813896/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1813663 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1813663 Yes, the main issue is the displays turn black. However, I think that both causes (closing the laptop lid and locking) are equally important.
