Public bug reported: Using eoan 19.10 and wayland and the following package versions
* gnome-shell 3.34.1ubuntu1 * gnome-terminal 3.34.0-1ubuntu2 * mutter 3.34.1-1ubuntu1 * libmutter-5-0 3.34.1-1ubuntu1 How to reproduce: * I open up gnome-terminal and switch to fullscreen (F11). * Then I decrease font-size / zoom (CTRL+-). * The gnome-terminal window no longer fills the display. The window size is reduced proportionally to the reduction in font size. The same applies for zooming in / increasing font size. The window is then larger than the display and the cursor is outside of the viewport. What I expect: * No matter the font size, the gnome-terminal window should cover the whole display (not more, not less) as long as gnome-terminal is in fullscreen mode. As far as I remember, this was working before in Ubuntu 19.04 disco. ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1850621 Title: zoom sets wrong window size in fullscreen mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/1850621/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
