Public bug reported: Binary package hint: epiphany-browser
Since the primary method of accessing bookmarks in Epiphany seems to be typing the corresponding tags in the address bar and then selecting the bookmark from the resulting suggestions, it would be much easier if any matching bookmarks were put at the very top of the suggestion list, with matching history items below them. The current behavior is that bookmarks and history items seem to be randomly mixed in the suggestions. $ cat /etc/lsb-release DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=7.10 DISTRIB_CODENAME=gutsy DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 7.10" $ apt-cache policy epiphany-browser epiphany-browser: Installed: 2.20.1-0ubuntu1 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Feb 27 23:08:23 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/epiphany Package: epiphany-browser 2.20.1-0ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcCmdline: epiphany-browser ProcCwd: /home/ryan ProcEnviron: PATH=~/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/lib/kde4/bin LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: epiphany-browser Uname: Linux bigbrick 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Feb 12 07:42:25 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- Bookmarks should appear first in address bar suggestions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/196362 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to epiphany-browser in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
