Marcos: So is it 'I Am Legend' in particular giving you problems, or can you not play *any* commercial DVDs? This happens with all commercial DVDs. Unless I installed libdvdcss, there should be a GUI for this installation, an end-user just wont know how to do it. Totem played iHardy but when studio reinstalled, tot em will not play DVD it will list the segments.Error message says an error occurred, could not read from resource. Did you install css? For amd64 there seams to be a bug in the install- css.sh sudo gedit /usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/install-css.sh You see following two lines: #available=alpha hppa i386 ia64 powerpc s390 sparc available=i386 Replace the with available=alpha amd64 hppa i386 ia64 powerpc s390 sparc #available=i386 Save the file and do a sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/install-css.sh. This worked for me. I have this same problem on Hardy 64-bit. I'm not sure if it is a libdvdread problem or a totem problem though.
