Still a problem on 14.04 using MATE desktop on HP d330, CPU usage is 75%. I was surprised after switching from vinagre to vncviewer! I've seen this too, with vinagre and xvncviewer. Doesn't happen with krdc, though. This seems similar to this bug report: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=494059 . More information about this problem : When I connect vinagre to x11vnc, no problem. When I connect vinagre to vino, the CPU usage is very high. It's seems to be a problem between vinagre and vino.
