Id2ndR: If the only problem you are experiencing the display of those deprecation warnings, then you should be fine. It's just a warning, nothing important. I have the same kind of trouble with jaunty in ~/.xsession-errors : lots of lines like these : /usr/share/themes/Human/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:82: Murrine configuration option highlight_ratio will be deprecated in future releases. It's similar, but this one happend, when open the try the themes window. Well, today 10 Sept. I did check runing a top command and did change the themes, and all workd fine. Rolando, Could you please remove the Murrine-Symphonic theme and see if that helps? The last two errors you initially pasted referenced a bad syntax issue with that theme.
