Apparently, Ubuntu has split up ending sessions into two different commands in Intrepid. The first does what the quit applet is now doing, offers log off or switch user. The second offers to let the user shut down or restart. Both of the options are available from the gnome system menu. The awn quit applet brings up the first option. The AWN quit applet still pulls up the logoff/switch user dialogue however. This applet needs to be mapped to Intrepid's new shutdown restart daemon. If we can come up with the terminal command that throws that dialogue, it can be easily plugged into the AWN Quit applet's preferences. Any ideas?
