Its funny that you send this email at this time as my mp3 player just stopped 
being detected over the weekend and I can't get it to work.  If I revert to 
USB1.0, Linux can detect it, but it does not sync anymore.  I'm at a loss.  
I'll see if there is a BIOS update.

I found at the FAQ at http://www.linux-usb.org/ that some BIOS are old and 
cannot handle good enough the USB2.0 ports. So the solution proposed is to turn
