Every few days I'm able to receive mail then an error fetching mail comes up for days on end. Does either of you have a clue as to what could be causing it? I'd appreciate any help you can offer. Could you provide some more information? It says that there is an error in retrieving mail when I try to do that. I have Linux, by the way. Are you sure you have the settings configured properly? Yes, everything was fine, nothing's changed and now it doesn't work. Is Evolution in Offline mode? No Are you going through a proxy? How do I find that out? Does it give any errors? And can you reproduce this using the Intrepid Release Candidate live cd? The Intrepid Release Candidate can be downloaded here: http://releases.ubuntu.com/intrepid Try setting up your Evolution on the live cd, and see if you can send emails.
