Nautilus has no issue with that .svg on dapper, that's probably a librsvg issue which has been fixed since. I made some further testing with move, rename and even copy - paste the content to new file but Nautilus keeps crashing everytime. It seems that this happens while Nautilus is trying to generate the preview for the icon. In the future include the backtraces in an attachment, it makes reading the comments easier.
