There is no obvious patch or change to backport for 5.10, that's not a frequent complain and the bug is annoying but not a crash, I would say it's low priority for a stable update. The Breezy installation works as expected in this configuration, except that gamin (gam_server) is constantly polling some directory on the nfs. I guess gamin fallback to polling when neither inotify nor dnotify is available to monitor some files. So, this bug should be known upstream.
