My ubunutu 8.04 was upgrades to 8.10 now Brasero will not burn anything. It won't report media disk space correctly, it reports zero It doesn't detect disk type. So do we have to wait until Jaunty for a fix, no burning until then? I have experienced the same, not enough space could it be my Ubuntu is installed through windows xp? I did try to install as a free standing o/s with not allot of luck, so I removed the partition and installed back in windows. Had the same problem on Ubuntu 8.10 with brasero 0.8.2. Upgraded to 0.8.3 due to Pedro's post but unfortunately the problem persists. I have two files one is a large .wav file and the other is the same thing in .ogg format.
