[Bug 339337] Re: gnome-sudoku uses python-numpy which is not installed by default

2009-03-27 Thread Thomas Andersen
I fixed this upstream between 2.25.92 and 2.26.0. Gnome-games no longer
needs numpy in 2.26.0

debian reverted the change with this reason

" * Bring back python-numpy to Depends since get_pixels_array can be
used even from an application that doesn’t import numpy explicitly.
 Closes: #519233."

[Bug 339337] Re: gnome-sudoku uses python-numpy which is not installed by default

2009-03-09 Thread Anthony Borrow
I just did the system updates and it is now working so it seems to be
resolved as it is now using gnome-games version 1:2.24.1.1.-0ubuntu1. I
suspect this is a temporary fix until things get cleaned up with the
newer version. Thanks for your efforts at tracking this down patching it
up. Peace - Anthony

the gnome-games version in jaunty doesn't import numpy, could you try
look at what does the import?

fgrep -r multiarray /usr/share/python-support/gnome-games-
data/gnome_sudoku doesn't show anything

where does the import come from?
