2008-07-14 Thread Tormod Volden
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

[Bug 3400] Re: photos cannot be imported after update

2007-03-25 Thread manuel
Hello All,

I'm unable to import photos after my latest update. I don't know if
this is a related bug to this one but have very similar symptoms .

What is happening: The camara is recogniced but I cant' import because I get:
Se ha producido un error en la biblioteca de entrada-salida ('No se pudo
reclamar el dispositivo USB'): No se pudo reclamar la interfaz 0 (Operación no
permitida). Debe asegurarse de tener acceso de lectura/escritura al dispositivo
y que ningún otro programa o módulo del núcleo (como sdc2xx, stv680, spca50x)
esté utilizándolo.

[Bug 3400] Re: photos cannot be imported

2007-03-25 Thread manuel
I found permission denied when gphoto2 is called w/ strace. I believe
that some changes was made during uprade.

It works if I call it using sudo

$  ls -ld /dev/bus/usb/005/007
crw-rw-r-- 1 root root 189, 518 Mar 25 16:18 /dev/bus/usb/005/007

I'm in plugdev. Do the file /dev/bus/usb/005/007 should have plugdev
gid?
