I have the same problem. Ubuntu 8.10. Happens with a lot of folders. And sometimes I double click on the folder, wait some seconds and nautilus just ignore the command. I have to do the process again, and when it enters in the folder, freezes. But I can't do the Backtrace. yelp-dbgsym is not available on the repositories. I follow the instructions here (https://wiki.edubuntu.org/DebuggingProgramCrash-pt_BR).
