Hello Pedro, Thanks for dropping in on this report. I'm actually still using 10.10 but I can report that Media Player now plays the file. I'd mark the bug as solved, however incidentally, but I cannot find a way to do this. Cheers! Thanks for the reply. Refusal to play this file is consistent. The status bar does indicate that the file is being played.
