if you really hare a game and don't want to see the menu entry you can
use the menu editor to mask this one

Yes, I would think it'd be time consuming to work on splitting. But I
think saving space is not the only reason, what do you say about games
in Windows, they are only few megabytes but they are separate from each
other.
