Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools
Ubuntu 9.04, i686; 1) GNOME tool to administer users in easy way, with GUI. I miss an option to sort groups in alphanumeric order. Groups are listed based on ID that it is not visible in the list. I would like to have an option to sort available groups based on ID or NAME. I talk about Manage "GROUP Window" 2) Until I don't unlock User management, I cannot see group details, all group names are printed in gray and I cannot open properties. As I can open file /etc/groups, I don't see any reason why to block this feature in lock mode. 3) I wish have to have an option to see in user detail groups he is member of. I see some list of predefined groups (User privileges) there but user can be added to other group in Manage group" window and this is hidden here. 4) When I run the tool from command line, I see some critical error: # users-admin ** (users-admin:8828): CRITICAL **: Unable to lookup session information for process '8828' ** Affects: gnome-system-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- User administration, groups are not sortable; users-admin https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379944 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-system-tools in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
