Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
I am using karmic up to date today (24th July). I have auto-login configured, and haven't changed the default screensaver settings. If I boot the computer and leave it, the auto-login works, and the screensaver activates. However, the screensaver (set to blank screen) does not blank the screen, and I see the normal desktop. (I also see the dialogue to get password to mount other drives - as described in alpha 3 release notes). Moving the mouse causes the screen to fade to black, then immediately return to normal use. Expected action: screensaver activates regardless of whether waiting for a dialogue during boot, or if no activity since boot. ** Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- screensaver does not blank screen if no activity since (auto) login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/403922 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
