For me Tomboy seems to be working correctly. I used both the Tactile theme and the Melancholy-Murrine referenced above and both look good to me. Can anyone else confirm what I see? Note how Tomboy is transparent for all solid color options. The background of Liferea's icon is not transparent (when the panel is set to transparent under the tropical theme and others in the repositories) WHEN it is started and the Show number of new items in the tray icon. option is checked. Simply setting the option while it is running is not enough to trigger this.
