Thanks for the report, the commit you're pointing to is http://git.gnome.org/cgit/brasero/commit/?h=gnome-2-28id=12ada48e177640310960ed63e6b74307686acfc7 ;i don't think that might cause the issue, but would be nice to test it, could you please revert that commit localy and test ? Thanks, Pedro, I'll try that tomorrow if I can get into GIT that soon - haven't really worked with it yet... Another update: I changed the description of the bug because the bug affects much more stuff. My brother wasn't able to burn CDs or install programs in Wine until he reverted to version 2.27.92-0ubuntu2. I have reverted a fully updated a6 to libbrasero/brasero 2.27.92 and have regained full and proper use of the cd/dvd drives.
