Hi! I have the same problem here. It's a Dell Inspiron 640m with an Intel® Media Accelerator 950 Graphics. With dual screen enabled, I'm unable to play videos. I've tried with Totem, VLC and MPlayer, with the same black video with all of them. So IMHO, it's not a gstreamer problem. But if I reproduce a video with mplayer, and select 'X11 (XImage/Shm)' video driver, the video is displayed correctly. The problem appears if 'XV' video driver is selected. I've attached the lspci -vvnn output.
