This does affect me, also. It appears however, that double/triple clicked segments of text ARE selected but not highlighted (inverted). For example, selecting a word by double clicking, momentarily highlights the word, but it immediately reverts to un-highlighted. However, when typing, the word selected will be overwritten. The immediate un-highlighting action also appears to clear the clipboard. This only occurs in HTML mode.
