I mean the the current icon is intrusive, while the suggested one just blends nicely into the panel. The creator of the new icon posted this originally on the ubuntuforums where I recommended him to file a bugreport to get it included. I have installed dapper on a former windows xp user's computer and seen her click it several times thinking it was the Close Window button. I completly agree with those comments. And I think those are good propositions. The panel-new which is proposed it nicer that the actual one. Nevertheless, you're doing a GREAT work for Dapper ! I also think this new logout button looks much better than the current one. I have actually removed the current one from the panel because it looked so out of place. This is indeed better than the old one, but perhaps someone could come up with something that isn't a power on/off button?
