I've tried. Glacial movement. I'm willing to test any patches you can provide, assuming I can have a non-intrusive method of testing them. A PPA package would be best. Unfortunately, as I was trying out the patch, I wasn't able to get back to my original GTK. Could you try to get upstream review maybe by pinging on the bug or mailing their list?
