Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
I used byzanz gnome applet to record small screencast. It produced an 2.5MB big animated gif file. If I select this file in Nautilus it uses up whole memory in short time and starts swapping which makes whole desktop unresponsive. I must kill nautilus process to stop the memory leak. I am using Ubuntu 9.10, Nautilus Version is 1:2.28.1-0ubuntu3 ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Bigger size animated gif produce huge memory leak in Nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/500788 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
