sudo is designed not to echo the password (or asterisks or anything else
in its place) as you type. If you type in your user password and press
return it should allow you to execute the desired command as root.

When iI try to enter the sudo password in Terminal nothing appears on the
screen bt I know the keyboard operate properly, because only for the password
it is ineffective...
