the package/programme is the gnome panel I use Ubuntu 9.10 the version of the package is 1:2.28.0-0ubuntu 6 0 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main packages 100 var/lib/dpkg/status When I insert a DVD and want to open it with the video player it should open the menu of the DVD. Instead I get an error message (in German) telling me that the source couldn't be opened maybe due to a lack of user rights. I do have this problem with DVDs for Europe and the US.
