Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero
After a first successful DVD write, Brasero can not write another DVD. It returns an "Session error : unknown". I am using Brasero 2.28.2 from Ubuntu Karmic. So, to replicate the bug, you should: - burn a DVD; - manually eject the DVD (automatic eject after burning does not work :P); - insert another DVD; - give the "burn" command to the second DVD. It will fail with the error: "BraseroGrowisofs called brasero_job_get_fd_out BraseroGrowisofs stderr: :-( /dev/sr0: failed to grab associated sg device BraseroGrowisofs stdout: HUP BraseroGrowisofs stderr: HUP BraseroGrowisofs process finished with status 144 BraseroGrowisofs called brasero_job_error BraseroGrowisofs finished with an error BraseroGrowisofs asked to stop because of an error error = 0 message = "no message" BraseroGrowisofs stopping BraseroGrowisofs got killed Session error : unknown (brasero_burn_record brasero-burn.c:2811)" I have attached here the full log generated by Brasero. ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Brasero failes writing more than one DVD's https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/505502 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
