  As stated in the title.
  
  To reproduce:
  
  * Join an IRC channel (may be the same for MSN/Yahoo, etc)
  * Type a long message (longer than the window)
  
  The input box does not open vertically as you would expect, but resizes
  the entire chat window.
  
  Ubuntu Lucid alpha 2 (19 Jan 2009 updates).
