Sorry. I have nothing new to offer. I am still having the same issues as the initial report. There was no change with the upgrade to 10.04. I am currently running both empathy and Pidgin. Troy, empathy dont have any implementation for Facebook chat it just uses the method of gtalk, upstream developers of empathy also highly dislike the type of protocol support that facebook supports. can you please confirm if this is still an issue. Hi Omar, Yes 3 am still having this issue. After I posted the bug, my contacts mysteriously appearred. However, the disappeared again after a few minutes and haven't come back again. I don't have a high number of contacts, so I don't think that may be the issue. I usually ony have 5-15 friends online at a time. I installed Pidgin and it seems to be working flawlessly. But, I would rather use Empathy for a single program. I clicked on the link to try and report this upstream like you asked. I am new to Linux, and very new to bug reporting. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure where to go, or how to, report the bug.
