Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Middle clicking a folder/bookmark in nautilus opens it as a new tab. In
lucid it switches automatically to that tab (useful). However, somewhere
in this process focus is lost as if one is to start typing, in order to
jump to a specific file, it does not react at all. Clicking doesn't help
either and in order for one to fix this one needs to switch back to the
original tab, click a file/folder and then switch back to your new tab
and then type-jumping should work again.
